As I was a rush phone user, I was thinking about which phone would be best for me. I wanted a phone that I could use all day, play games intensively without worrying, have a great camera because I also love taking photos, and get a protective phone from water and dust since I am very careless with my phone. I also wanted the best display, among many other features in a single phone.
At times, I thought it was impossible to find all these things in one phone. But I was wrong—Samsung made the impossible possible by introducing the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, which includes all of these features and unexpected software, AI camera features, and many other things I didn’t expect. It will be tough to highlight all these features.
Not only did I see these things and believe them, but I also did a lot of research and found the same results. I even asked a friend to recommend the best Android smartphone, and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra was also on his list. After all this, I couldn’t stop myself to use Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Here, I will share my daily drive journey experience with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, covering all the good and bad aspects so that you can know more details about this phone. Therefore, you can have proper knowledge and guidance about this phone. Okay, now let’s cut the intro and dive into the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra’s review.

Design

For the last three years, they have been coming up with the same design. That doesn’t bother me, but since the edges of the Galaxy S24 Ultra are not carved, it feels slightly sharp in the hand, and the corners feel even sharper. Normally, when I used it, I didn’t face major issues, but during gaming, I had problems because of the phone’s corners. However, over time with regular use, it didn’t cause significant problems. For its 233g weight, when I keep the phone in one hand, it gives me a heavy feel. But that doesn’t matter; once you get used to it, you will not feel the same way.
Build Quality

The build quality of the Galaxy S24 Ultra is quite impressive. They used a Titanium Frame in the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which provides a scratch-free user experience.
However, it doesn’t match the iPhone; the iPhone uses grade 5 titanium, while the Galaxy uses grade 2 titanium. Since the iPhone uses titanium, the extent to which it is lighter than the Ultra could be possible.
So, in my opinion, this should be improved in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. But that will not bother you once you get used to it, and it doesn’t bother me. When you hold this phone for the first time or during regular use, no matter what you feel initially, I tell you that you will get a premium feel when you hold it.

In the back panel, Galaxy used Corning Gorilla Armor protection, so you will be safe in case of accidental drops. Since I am a careless person, I even use my phone in places like water and sand without paying much attention to such things. For this reason, I am almost always worried and anxious about my phone. But Galaxy used IP68 dust and water resistance, For that I don’t have to worry about using my phone in any kind of place or situation. Overall, their build quality is excellent.
What's New In The Display?

This time, some Galaxy users are happy, while some are unhappy with its flat display. Since 2015, they have been using curved displays in their phones, but this time, in the Galaxy S24 Ultra, they used a flat display. The display of the Galaxy S24 Ultra is quite big, with a 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, also with LPTO 4.0 display and a 120Hz refresh rate, giving you a wide range of options to switch between refresh rates.

Thinking about its brightness? Don’t worry, you can push it up to 2600 nits peak brightness, so you won’t suffer indoors or outdoors.
Some users have mentioned that when the brightness level is low, the display looks grainy and you can see noise when playing something dark.
What about scratches? With Corning Gorilla Glass Armor, you don’t have to worry about scratches. After using it for a long time, it was tough to find any scratches.

Video play quality? I am fully satisfied with its playback quality. With QHD (3088 x 1440 pixels), I played a 4K resolution video, and it was impressive how it held everything and provided the best video view.

What’s interesting about the display? The most interesting feature of this display is its anti-reflective glass. It is simple but quite impressive.
Overall, it is the best display in flagship phones I have ever used. Not only am I saying this, but most YouTubers and reviewers also say the same thing.
Performance
I already mentioned that I am a heavy phone user, so I subjected this phone to all kinds of stress, from multitasking to gaming performance.
Result? It didn’t disappoint me at all. I opened many apps and kept them in the background, and after a while, when I returned to some apps, they didn’t reload and showed me the same screen I had left before.

Gaming performance? When I played PUBG in full ultra HD, it didn’t bother me initially, but when I was in a rush while playing, I experienced some lag.
What about its heating? After playing games for 5 minutes, I felt it heating up. The temperature rose to 43°C. So, let’s talk about the cooling system. After intense gaming, it took about 5 to 7 minutes to cool down and around 10 minutes to return to normal temperature.

Did I get the best gaming experience? With the Snapdragon 8 Gen (4nm) processor chipset, it didn’t disappoint me at all in gaming. If I were to make a list of the best gaming phones, it would take the 4th position on my list. Overall, I had a good gaming experience with this phone. I played all kinds of heavy games, and it didn’t bother me at all.
With 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of fast UFS 4.0 storage, I don’t have to suffer in daily use. I had a superb experience when I used it normally in my daily life.
The best part is that it never disappointed me at all in my user experience.
Camera

Once, I searched on Google for the best camera phone in 2025. The result? The Galaxy S24 Ultra came out on the list. But I didn’t rely just on the internet. I did my own research and found the same result. Now, some people might say that the iPhone 16 Pro Max has the best camera and is the number one camera phone. It depends on their needs or choice. I used the Galaxy S24 Ultra and compared it with the iPhone 16 Pro Max. It’s not always that Samsung wins and Apple loses or vice versa. Sometimes the Galaxy wins in some features, and Apple wins in others. Anyway, let’s talk about the Galaxy camera.
This time, the shutter speed is faster than before. Once, I took a portrait photo and uploaded it to Facebook, and my friend asked me, “Did you capture the photo with a DSLR?”
But the downside is that the portrait mode doesn’t always focus well. Out of 10 portrait shots, 1 photo’s subject would get blurry. But don’t get disappointed by this. The camera of the Galaxy S24 Ultra is much more impressive.

The main camera, with its 200MP resolution, lets you take photos like a DSLR. Also, their zoom lens is very impressive. I’ve always liked the digital zoom lens of the Galaxy. You can zoom up to 100x digitally. Even when I took photos at night, it didn’t disappoint me at all. It reduced noise significantly in low-light photos. I was getting good details, and all the pictures were well-exposed, making them look good.

When I tested 8K 30FPS video recording, it was much good. The subject had much more detail, and the video quality was very sharp.
What I’d say is, it’s not just a phone; it’s a phone with the best camera. Its camera features and performance are much more impressive than you’d expect.
AI Features

This time, they’ve tried to add all kinds of AI features. The feature I like most in the AI capabilities is photo object removal and place change. If an object accidentally appears in the photo, you can easily remove it. Additionally, if you need to resize any object, whether making it bigger or smaller, you can do that with ease. That’s not all—if you’re watching a video and want to know something about it, you just have to circle the object or text in the video, and the AI will provide all the details about it.
Another impressive feature is the AI wallpaper, which is quite stunning. And the chat AI—if you want to chat or talk with foreign people and don’t know the language, but you have the Galaxy S24 Ultra, you don’t have to worry at all. You can easily select the language format, and it will translate automatically.
S Pen of Galaxy S24 Ultra

I don’t know why, but I love the S Pen the most in the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It depends on a person’s choice and preference, but I really enjoy using the S Pen. I use it most of the time in my daily routine. However, the functions of the S Pen and Samsung DeX haven’t changed at all. In fact, the previous Galaxy S23 Ultra offered the same exact functions, which makes me a little bit sad. It should be upgraded in the next series.
Battery

Also, the 5000mAh battery didn’t disappoint me at all. I get a good backup from it. I think the AI features of the Galaxy help balance the battery performance. The charger they provide is 45W fast charging, but they could provide a faster charger, and I think that should be upgraded. I put the phone through all kinds of stress, using it heavily and normally.
Result? The result was quite impressive. Overall, I can say that the battery of the Galaxy is not bad at all, and I am satisfied with it.
Conclusion
If you have a healthy budget and want an all-in-one phone, then the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is totally worth it for you, as it is quite expensive.
If you have the mindset that you want a phone capable of handling any kind of heavy or normal use, regardless of the price, and you want an Android device, then this phone is a great choice.
It will not disappoint you at all in your daily or regular use. After learning about the full specifications of the Samsung Galaxy, I believe you won’t hesitate to make this phone a part of your daily life journey.
