They made a change in the camera section. If I compare the camera section, this time, the camera circle is 20% bigger than the last series.

Now, if I talk about its build quality, in the back panel, they offer an Aluminum frame for durability, and in the back panel glass, they offer Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for glass protection. Both the display and back are curved, which allows a user to hold the phone for a long time and also has a premium feel while holding and using it. While I was holding the phone for the first time, the curved display on both sides made it easy to hold and use. Also, in the first impression, when I touched the phone, I got a premium feel, which I already mentioned that the user will get a premium feel when he/she holds the phone on his/her first impression.

They also provide LTPO AMOLED, 1B colors, 120Hz, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, 600 nits (typ), 1600 nits (HBM), 4500 nits (peak), and 1440×3168 pixel resolution. For glass protection, they used Corning Gorilla Victus 2, which gives a stronger display and durability.

From my user experience, the display is good enough. The brightness level is higher than any other flagship phone. I didn’t face any kind of trouble while using it under the sun. Also, the color and refresh rate are good enough to use. I played and streamed videos on YouTube and scrolled through social media, which was so satisfying. And for its curved display, I enjoyed it much more while watching videos on YouTube. Overall, I will say, at this price, the display of this phone is top-notch to me.

This time, the fingerprint position comes a little bit higher, which is good. It will be more helpful for those people whose hands are a little bit smaller and can easily unlock the big screen phone. This time, they are providing the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, and you will get 256GB 12GB RAM, 256GB 16GB RAM, 512GB 16GB RAM, 1TB 16GB RAM, and 1TB 24GB RAM variants. They also provide UFS 4.0 storage, which is good enough. Because of this, you can easily do everything with the phone, from daily use to heavy use and multitasking. It can easily handle it without any kind of issue.

I played many different games. Gaming results? It was much more impressive than I thought. It was very satisfying. I played many kinds of games and didn’t face any kind of major trouble while playing. I played high HD, ultra graphics on this phone, and the phone handled it easily without any kind of major issue. Overall, the gaming performance of this phone is much more satisfying. And from daily to heavy use, I didn’t face any kind of trouble while using it because the phone handled everything easily.

This time, OnePlus made a change in the camera. Last time, the camera was not good at all. But this time, the camera is good enough to say. This time, you will see a triple camera in the OnePlus 12. They provide a 50 MP primary camera, a 48 MP ultra-wide camera, and a 64 MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom to 30x digital zoom.

As you can see, the photos are good enough. The color, contrast, sharpness, and subject details are well-balanced. But I will not say it is the best camera. It can be better. In the camera section, I will say it can provide approximately high-quality photos.

For video recording, in the primary camera, you can record 8K@24fps, 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/240/480fps, Auto HDR, gyro-EIS, and Dolby Vision. And in the selfie camera, you can do 4K@30fps, 1080p@30fps, and gyro-EIS video recording.

Software

This time, the OnePlus 12 runs Android 14, and it also has OxygenOS 15. Also, this time, they are providing three years of major Android updates and four years of security updates, which is enough to expect from a phone. In my opinion, it is enough for me to have this kind of software and features at this price.

Battery Life & Charging

This time, the battery capacity is bigger than before. The battery capacity of this phone is 5400 mAh. They used Li-Po material in the battery. The battery backup is also good enough. In my daily use, the battery gave me a good backup. If you use it normally, you will get a full day’s backup.

The charging system is top-notch. They are providing 100W wired charging, which takes 26 minutes to charge from 0% to 100%, also 80W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
